Jenna + Jensen • Hale Koa Wedding

Jenna and Jensen were introduced to each other on a camping trip by their best friends. They both told their friends that they liked one another, and it didn't take long for them to become a couple. Jenna and Jensen enjoy going to the beach, eating out and being with their good friends. When they're together "life is good!"

One thing that Curt and I remember from their wedding is finding out how Jensen proposed to Jenna. Jenna had come home from work, exhausted and just wanted to stay-in. Jensen however, had greater plans and kept encouraging her to go out to dinner. Short and sweet version: After dinner, Jensen said that he wanted to play a song for her (Jensen is also quite talented on the guitar!) They took a short stroll out under the moonlight and Jensen proceeded to play a couple songs for her. Then Jensen told Jenna that he had to change one of his guitar strings and asked her to hold one end of the string. Jensen held the other end and carefully put an engagement ring on it and slid it down to her! Awwwwww!!! Now, is that smooth OR WHAT???

Their wedding at the Hale Koa was full of personal touches and spoke volumes on how much Jenna and Jensen love one another. On another note, it was so nice to also see two couples who were our former brides and grooms over 10 years ago who are cousins to Jenna- Kim & Tyson and Kehau & William! We are honored to be somewhat of a "family photographer!"

It was great to work with James from Crane Media! He did a beautiful job on the video that was shown at the reception. Watanabe Florist provided the lovely blue rose bouquet and floral arrangements. Enjoy the slideshow!

Love in all Seasons • Hale Kulani Wedding

Larry and Yuri met through a their good friend who thought that they would be good together. Their wedding celebration was held at the 5-star Hale Kulani Hotel in Waikiki. Their reception was a lovely event with a delicious menu prepared by Hale Kulani's award winning chefs.

Larry is a Hiroshima Bomb survivor and a man with great wisdom. We were very impressed by his concluding speech which he related a story about his visit to his eye doctor and his comparison of one's vision and having a positive outlook on life:

Shall we have a "CLEAR VISION"
on the future of our world and mankind
so that we can sustain world peace
and endow happiness to all of us on the earth.

With our "CLEAR VISION,"
we shall live by and maintain
a kind of lifestyle worthy of ourselves."

Holly and Brian's Hawaii Destination Wedding, Maui Hawaii

This is a story of an extraordinary couple. Both writers, they met through the world wide web and began to network. They decided to meet to discuss their work. Nine months after their first date they were engaged!

Holly describes herself as "quirky, spontaneous and creative." Enamored with Brian's chivalry and thoughtfulness, she comments on his characteristics. "Brian's the most caring man I’ve ever met. The most chivalrous... to this day he still opens every door for me and he loves me beyond words... something I’ve never had before. "He’s caring, romantic and loving."

Traveling from New York to their Hawaii Destination wedding on Maui was a dream come true. "We wanted our wedding to be unique, like nothing anyone else we know had ever done... especially the “trash the dress” session." Holly and Brian shared their joy with family and friends in an intimate celebration of their union at Paipu Beach, in Kihei, Maui with wedding coordination by "Marry Me Maui." Following the ceremony and photo session everyone enjoyed an evening of fine dining at the beautiful Sea Watch Restaurant at Wailea.

Finally, the blushing bride shared these heartfelt thoughts, "For once, two people have found that love surpasses everything, especially time. "We are two old souls who met in young bodies who were so ready for each other to love."

Thank you Brian and Holly for the wonderful experience of meeting you to capture and witness your love. It was truly an honor. Even though I got thoroughly soaked during the TTD session and lost some gear we surely came away with some fantastic images! It doesn't hurt that Maui is one of my most favorite places to be! ENJOY THE SLIDESHOW! (Click on Play-triangle) ~ Aloha ~
